Hawzah News Agency- Head of Iran’s Seminary Ayatollah Alireza Arafi made some remarks in a gathering of Indian Sunni scholars held in Qom on Tuesday, June 27, and pointed out that India is a huge country in the Eastern world and said,” India must secure its great place in the world.”

He stated that we consider the Indian Muslim community as a great axis in the Islamic world, and said,” Indian Muslims should play a big role in advancing the goals of Islamic unity.”

The head of Iranian seminaries further pointed out that the importance of the Islamic society in India is clear and said,” the path of relations between the Muslims of the Islamic Republic of Iran and India should be ongoing and steadfast.”

Stating that fortunately, the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and India are good, he noted that such trips to the Islamic Republic can have many effects on the strength of these relations.

Pointing out that the Indian government should pay due attention to the Indian Muslim community, Ayatollah Arafi stated,” As religious scholars in the Islamic seminary, we emphasize the need to pay more attention to the demands of the Indian Muslim community.”
